1st Annual Car Show
All are welcome to register a car the day of and have the opportunity to receive one of several awards. The first 75 car registrants receive a goodie bag and a dash plaque
This is open to public and held on the museum grounds. Everyone will have a choice o vote on the People's Choice award and you will get a ticket for door prizes. Bring the kids down so they can vote on the Kid's Choice award.
Sign your kids up for this great summer experience. Each camp has 12 different activities (each camp day is different). This is a learning experience turned into hands-on, outdoor fun they will want to come back for time and time again.
Summer Kids History Camps provide hands-on, outdoor learning. Each camp offers 12 different activities where kids can learn from the past to inspire the future.
Kids will be building their own wooden bird houses and design it through paint. All the material are provided. The kids will be painting, hammering and learning!
Learn about the many uses of Aloe Vera during this planting class. Aloe Vera is know for its skin care properties, wound healing, digestive health benefits, and its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
During this workshop, we will work with 100% pure beeswax, a natural, renewable resource. You will learn how make candles that emit a bright, healthful light within the same spectrum as the sun. Beeswax burns longer, drips less, and naturally smells wonderful.
The kids will learn about succulent plant propagation, a way to create new plants from existing ones. They will be planting a succulent to take home. They will also take home the knowledge of caring for their plant and be able to propagate for new plants.
The history of bird feeding goes back to ancient times. Suet is wonderful for birds! In the winter, food sources are often scarce, and the fat and seeds help them to generate body heat. Come make your own suet!
